Rkatsiteli Qvevri amber dry wine "Davliot, Megobaro!" (2024)
“Davliot, Megobaro!”, meaning “Let’s have a drink, Friend!”, is a Rkatsiteli qvevri wine crafted by Arsi Mitsa Marani in Kurdghelauri (Rabbit’s village), Kakhetie region.
Following ancient Georgian traditions, this wine undergoes fermentation alongside the skins and seeds in the clay vessel called qvevri, dug into the soil, which provides stable temperature during wine aging. This full -bodied tonifying richly golden wine boasts an extraordinary character. On the palate you will first notice delicate notes of sweet white fruits complemented by a subtle hint of vanilla. As it unfolds, flavors of juicy green apple emerge, accompanied by a touch of field herbs culminating in a satisfying creamy finish.
Recommended with any food rich in taste: enjoy experimenting by marrying this wine with various dishes no matter bitter or sweet!
